Covenant of Fellowship
Purpose
Because of the expressed desire of believers to join together one with another in a local fellowship to better serve Jesus and to edify each other, Christ Community Fellowship Church has made provisions for persons who desire to formally associate themselves to one another in the corporate body of believers at Christ Community to express that intention by formally embracing this Covenant of Fellowship. In so doing, the believer affirms that he/she feels the call of God to formally join the congregation of Christ Community Fellowship and to thus be the recipient of the blessings and the benefits of such an action, as well as embracing the responsibilities, which accompany such a commitment.

Nature of the Covenant of Fellowship
Those who embrace the commitment, which the Covenant of Fellowship entails, agree to the following specifics: 1. an essential agreement with the statement of faith of Christ Community Fellowship, 2. a recognition of the authority of the eldership, the pastoral ministry and the leadership of the senior pastor, 3. active attendance and support of Christ Community and its ministries. Further, the benefits available to those committing themselves to the Covenant of Fellowship include: 1. all the benefits of this ministry, 2. a congregation vote in church business affairs, 3. the blessing of the corporate aspect of the Body of Christ locally, and 4. a deeper sense of being fruitfully placed in the Body of Christ.
