Pastor Edward Vinson has been Pastor since January 1, 1995.

Pastor Ed was born in Lubbock Texas September 11, 1950 and lived in Lubbock until moving to Capitan in June 1988.

Pastor Ed has been married to his beautiful wife Jo Beth for 28 years.
Together they have two wonderful daughters, Stephanie & Meaghan.

Pastor Ed was originally baptized at Central Baptist Church in Lubbock in 1959. He and his parents later moved their membership to Melonie Park Baptist where they were charter members in the beginning of that work.
